Officials at Dr. Pepper previously said they would give a free Dr. Pepper to everybody in America if Guns N’ Roses released its much anticipated album, Chinese Democracy, before the end of the year.
The album, which has been talked about for nearly 20 years, is slated to come out on Sunday. “We never thought this day would come,” Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement. “But now that it’s here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”
People can get on Dr. Pepper’s Web site beginning at 12:01 a.m. Sunday to print off a coupon for a free Dr. Pepper.
