The Screen Actors Guild awards were last night, and Colin Firth and The King’s Speech were again big winners. Firth took home the award for best performance by an actor, and the film won the ensemble acting award, which is the SAG equivalent to Best Picture. The SAGs also honor television performances, and Betty White was a winner for actress in a comedy for Hot in Cleveland. Check out the Los Angeles Times for full coverage of the event.
The Academy Awards are on Feb. 27, and a New York Times special section offers a variety of coverage to keep you up-to-date on Oscar buzz until the award show.
